Bronx Man Possessed Cocaine, Had Active Warrant: Mt Olive Police

A 41-year-old Bronx man was arrested and charged with possessing cocaine in Flanders on Friday, Oct. 25, authorities said.

At 10:05 p.m., officers involved a Nissan Altima merge onto Rt. 206 in an unsafe manner, Mt. Olive police said in a release. Police initiated a traffic stop and discovered the driver, Christopher Hildago had a warrant out for his arrest in Wayne, officers said.

Hidalgo was placed under arrest and a search of his person produced a plastic baggie containing suspected cocaine, police said. Hidalgo was transported to police headquarters where he was charged with Possession of Cocaine and Possession of Paraphernalia. He was released pending a court hearing.
